Deep in the bamboo forests of my hometown, my grandfather's old generation of bamboo artisans used their hands to weave bamboo products, passing on this traditional craft from generation to generation. The birth of each bamboo basket is the result of the craftsmen's reverence for nature and their dedication to craftsmanship. I remember that every day, my grandfather would sit under the eaves of the house, with the sunlight pouring on his wrinkled face and a bamboo strip, and a pair of calloused hands would slowly turn bamboo into the art of life. Later, when Grandpa was gone, the bamboo garden fell into disuse, no one made baskets anymore, no one used them anymore, and the whole era of bamboo weaving was slowly forgotten along with urbanisation.

One day when I was living in Canada, I realised that the disappearance of an entire forest was hidden behind a single paper towel used at home... Later, renewable bamboo pulp paper towels were found in the bamboo forest, and so ‘Of Quartz, We Care...’ was born! - An eco-friendly lifestyle brand that started with bamboo. The moment the sunlight penetrated the bamboo forest, I saw my grandfather smiling, teaching the children about bamboo and showing them the bamboo pulp paper, and the warmth of the image reminded me of the time I spent with him in the bamboo forest when I was a child.
